This piece is dedicated to my great-aunt, Bessie Murdock. It reminds me of her gentle soul and nearness to God in all parts of her life. This choral selection is an arrangement of the Tallis Canon by Thomas Tallis. This song includes a section featuring the men's and then the women’s voices. The voices sing in parts and later in a round. You will recognize the words from the doxology that are included in verse four. The fifth and final verse is new and concludes this selection. I hope you’ll enjoy having your choir sing “All Praise To You, My God, This Night”.
