Hi! I'm Laura Cole. I've been writing music since 2006. I started getting serious about publishing it in 2024.
I write music primarily for my church to use during worship services. I was inspired to write my first composition for The Joyful Choir, our children's choir. I have also written choral arrangements for the adult choir, pieces for solo piano, and a few solos that are accompanied by piano.
Since I'm a music teacher, I've also been inspired to write songs for my students to sing that mark milestones in their lives or the school year.
I live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with my husband, Mark; my son, Connor; and our pets. I have been teaching music for 27 years in the public school system.
I'm a proud graduate of UNC-Greensboro ('99) and Appalachian State University ('12).
